Detailed Vendor Leaderboard Program
1. Objective & Goals
Primary Goal: To significantly increase the number of bookings on the PYS platform by incentivizing vendors.
Secondary Goals:
Boost Engagement: Increase daily active users among the vendor base.Drive Organic Growth: Turn vendors into active promoters.Foster Competition: Create a transparent environment that encourages vendors to actively compete.For the PYS platform, customer and revenue growth will be increased.
2. Leaderboard Mechanism & Rules
Scoring Metric: Ranking is based solely on the number of completed bookings (i.e., paid and serviced appointments) within the defined period.Competition Cycles: Monthly cycles (e.g., 1st to the last day of the month).Tie-Breaker: In case of a tie in the number of bookings, the vendor with the higher total revenue generated through PYS will be ranked higher.Eligibility: All vendors on the platform will be notified via digital marketing.Transparency: The algorithm and rules will be clearly documented in a "How it Works" section within the app.3. Monetary Incentives (Per Monthly Cycle)
1st Place: ₹10,0002nd Place: ₹5,000Non-Monetary Incentives (For all top 10 vendors)
Digital Badges: Profile badges for "Top Performer," "Rank #1," etc., visible to customers for the following month.Featured Listing: Top vendors are featured on a "Top Rated" or "Most Booked" section on the customer-facing side of the app, driving more organic traffic to them.Certificate of Achievement: A downloadable digital certificate to share on social media.4. Mobile Application UI/UX Flow & Screens
This section details how the leaderboard will be integrated into the vendor's mobile app experience.
Location: Top section of the main dashboard screen, immediately visible upon login.Content: - A compact card showing the vendor's Current Rank (e.g., "You are #12").
- Progress Bar/Text: Showing the gap to the next rank (e.g., "5 more bookings to reach #11").
- A quick link/button: "View Full Leaderboard".
Screen 2: The Main Leaderboard Screen
Access: Tapped from the dashboard widget or from the main navigation menu (e.g., "Rankings" or "Leaderboard").UI Design: A clean, list-based design with three distinct sections: 1. Podium Section: Top 3 vendors are highlighted in larger cards with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals/icons. Display their name, profile picture, and booking count.
2. Your Rank Card: A sticky card or highlighted row that shows the vendor's own position, clearly separated from the rest.
3. Full Rankings List: A scrollable list from rank 4 onwards. Each row shows: Rank Number, Vendor Name/Logo, City, and Total Completed Bookings.
Interactive Elements: - Pull-to-Refresh: To manually refresh the rankings.
- Info Icon (i): Explains the rules and scoring system.
- Time Filter: Shows the current cycle (e.g., "April 2024 Rankings").
Screen 3: Popular Vendor Pop-up
Access: Tapping on any vendor's name in the leaderboard.Content: It will navigate to the shop with same flow will continue.Screen 4: Reward Announcement Screen
Access: A full-screen modal that appears automatically at the start of a new cycle announcing the previous month's winners.Content: Celebrates the top 3 vendors with animations. Details the rewards they won. Includes a "Congratulations!" message and a button to "Start Earning Your Rank This Month!"5. Engagement System: Push Notifications & Alerts

Rank Change: "You've moved up to #8! Example User Journey
1. Day 1: Vendor Meera logs in and sees the dashboard widget: "You are #45. 10 bookings to #44."
2. Day 5: Meera gets a push notification: "You've entered the Top 40! You're now #39." She taps it, opening the leaderboard to see her name highlighted.
3. Day 15: She sees a competitor is close behind. She offers a small discount to her next 5 clients who "Book via the PYS app."
4. Day 28: An alert: "2 bookings left to win ₹10,000! You're currently #4." She urgently pushes her clients to book.
5. Day 1 (New Month): A celebration screen appears: "Congratulations Meera! You finished #3 and won ₹10,000!" She shares her achievement on social media, promoting the PYS app.
